£66,100 – £98,600 This compensation level is appropriate whenever there is complete damage to the heart or removal of a lung. Normally there is also permanent scarring and prolonged pain.
£43,100 – £66,100 This compensation level is awarded when traumatic injuries have occurred to the heart and/or lungs which result in a reduce life expectancy, disability, and permanent damage.
