MOFFUZUDDIN AHMED LITERARY AWARDS

The late Moffuzuddin Ahmed Hazarika was a Sufi Poet.  He also happens to be the grandfather of the Founder and Managing Trustee of our school.  Every 31 August we keep alive his humanist teachings and messages by having an awards ceremony.  We organize inter-school competitions in Creative Writing in English and recitation contest in the Assamese language.  We also hold workshops in various literary skills before that.

On the day of the Awards this year the pupils stage a Pageant  called ‘Assam through the Ages’.  The narrator was the River Brahmaputra (girls dressed in blue) which flows through the State of Assam.
